At Your Table - a prayer

Thank you, Lord for giving me a seat at Your table.
Honored is not enough of a word.
Help me to have a posture of gratitude for the rest of my days.
May I show up with eagerness and humility to be there.
And most importantly -
Help me deeply desire to have a character that matches the culture & the standard of that table.
With every inch of my heart, my choices, my personhood.
And may I hunger for the feast You’ve prepared for me, over all of the other things I think I hunger for.
Thank you, Lord for giving me a seat at Your table.
I will not let it go to waste.
